I write lots of small checks

I'd love to be the first check in. Often I particiapte as part of a syndicate. My checks are usually ($5K-$25K). I've made about 20 investments in 2024 and expect to make 10 more in 2025.Any company I invest in can count on me for founder-friendly advice, investor intros, product feedback, help with hiring, public promotion to my 10K tech industry followers, and second opinions.Portfolio companies include OpenAI, SpaceX, SOMATIC, Bearing.ai, Opal, Spot AI, Jellie AI, Orbit, Growit, Ionic Mineral Tech, Agility Robotics, Supermove, MultiOn, Truleo, The Complete Human, ProofPerks, and Standard Metrics, where I've co-invested alongside Andreessen Horowitz, Kholsa Ventures, Sequoia, Accel, General Catalyst, AI Fund, Berkeley Skydeck, and other leading seed stage venture firms.I also do some long-term public equities investing with current holdings in Lucid Motors, Rivian, NuScale Power, and META.

My advice is probably more useful

If you're really early and pre-angel or you're not raising an angel round, I often come in as an advisor asking for 0.25-0.75% depending on how far along you are and the impact I can have.I have 25 years of experience in the tech industry -- half at big tech like the early AdWords and Google Analytics V1 team and as a director at YouTube and Google Health AI.
